Where I Belong-prologue

We all want to belong. It could be the desire to be accepted by a group of people.  It also could be the desire to find that one person you can trust.  When you believe you found this person who loves and accepts you as you are, betrayal is the last thing you expect.  Betrayal left me shattered.  It was not only the betrayal of cheating with another woman, it was the mental games and emotional blackmail that brought me to a crossroads.

The process of letting go and forgiving was difficult.  I was lost in the ocean of anger and regret. Letting go of past hurts allowed me to find myself again.   Only this new self was spiritually stronger.   I’m still working on the “being wiser” part of personal growth. What can I say - it’s a process. Fortunately, I was able to love and trust again.
