Prologue:

We all have our ways to help us move through the blues.
Some get together with a friend or friends for support.
Others may put on some music that speaks to their mood.

They listen to the melody and sing along as my mom and
aunties had done. At times my mom would put dancing
music on and throw herself into the rhythm and dance.

Many family gatherings had music and dancing. I thought it
was something all families did. Dance if you are able or move
your body to the rhythm. You may feel better in that moment.
